Here at the RAF Manston History Museum, we have dedicated years to preserve the history. For the many years we have stood here dedicating time to explain history of not only Manston but the world’s since we have aircraft from other countries and items from around the globe such as infamous weapons used by the Nazis during WW2.
We would love for you to come and a book a tour of the museum so we can share our knowledge and passion with everyone young or old. So come and contact us at our contact page. So you can let us know you are interested in having a tour around this beautiful museum situated at the same place the Battle of Britain occurred all the way back in 1940.
Our displays show the vast history of Manston and how the airfield has been used over the years from the famous Concorde landing at Kent International to the behemoth Antonov An-124. While we do not have those aircraft on display we have facts posted in the museum. That is right some massive and legendary aircraft have landed at the airport next to us, just across the street. If you want to feel like you are in a terminal, we have seating from the terminal building you can see and sit on.
We’d love people to come and visit and share their experiences, having a tour helps preserve memories and facts that may soon disappear from history. As time goes on we want to preserve out legacy and the history of war from WW1 to the Cold War. We your help we can ensure every new generation will know what happened before the 2000’s.
